Example User Scenarios
These simplified examples explain product mechanics. They are not forecasts of returns, fees, capacity or settlement times.
Scenario 1 — Get ipUSD
A user converts USDC.e into ipUSD on the swap page, reviews the displayed rate and keeps the resulting ipUSD without entering the Vault.
Scenario 2 — Subscribe and settle
A user with at least 100 ipUSD joins the subscription queue. The amount remains ipUSD until the round settles, then the settled amount is represented by IP Vault shares.
Scenario 3 — Partial round capacity
A subscription is larger than the remaining round capacity. The amount that fits settles; the remaining ipUSD keeps its position at the front of the queue for the next round.
Scenario 4 — Instant exit
A holder requests an instant withdrawal. If sufficient capacity exists, the interface shows the applicable fee and expected ipUSD proceeds before confirmation.
Scenario 5 — Standard exit
A holder uses Standard Withdrawal when instant capacity is unavailable or unsuitable. The request follows the standard settlement and liquidity process.
