ipUSD Documentation
Understand how ipUSD, IP Vault and the supporting Soneium contracts work together — from getting ipUSD to entering, holding and exiting the royalty-backed vault.
Start with ipUSD
ipUSD is the stable-value asset used across the product. Users can get ipUSD from supported stablecoins on Soneium and convert it back through the swap interface. Holding ipUSD by itself does not represent an IP Vault investment position.
- Use Get ipUSD to convert supported stablecoins into ipUSD.
- Use IP Vault to subscribe ipUSD and manage vault shares.
- Use Transparency to review NAV, capacities, safeguards and protocol data.
IP Vault in one flow
The product flow separates stablecoin conversion from vault exposure. ipUSD is used to enter and exit; settled IP Vault shares represent the investment position.
- Get ipUSD → Subscribe → Settle → Hold shares → Withdraw
- Queued deposits remain ipUSD until settlement.
- After settlement, wallet and block explorers may display vault shares as sIPUSD.
Current product context
The live IP Vault interface displays a 5–9% target yield. This is a target, not a guaranteed return. Vault share value can rise or fall with the underlying portfolio and vault accounting.
- Minimum subscription: 100 ipUSD.
- Subscriptions and standard withdrawals follow queue-based settlement.
- Instant withdrawal availability depends on available liquidity/capacity.
